Looks nice in the glass. Dark colored, with decent lacings from the head.
Aroma is heavily hopped. Pungent smelling hops that are almost feet-like. I'm not sure if this is an effect of being mixed with the malt profile or its from using a certain type of hops, which I was never made of aware of what kind they used here.
Flavor also is huge on hops. Sharp, unrelenting, citrus, medicinal hop flavor. This is possibly the hoppiest beer I've had from this brewery.
I would prefer a black ipa to be a bit milder on the hops and showcase a few other qualities as well, but oh well. Body was medium bodied and well carbonated.
