12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 6/22/2018. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden amber color with a 1 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/light tart/tangy watermelon, cucumber, fruit skin, lemon, lime, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape, coriander, sea salt, hay, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, fruit, salt, coriander, and pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/light tart/tangy watermelon, cucumber, fruit skin, lemon, lime, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape, coriander, sea salt, hay, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light coriander spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy/tart/tangy watermelon, cucumber, fruit skin, lemon, lime, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape, coriander, sea salt, hay, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, fruit, salt, coriander, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/spiciness and tangy fruit balance, with no puckering flavors after the finish. Slight lingering spice astringency through the glass, but not overwhelming. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tartness, tangy fruit, and spiciness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, fairly acidic/sticky, and lightly saline balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a delicious fruited Gose. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, fruit, salt, coriander, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the modestly acidic/spicy/drying finish. Not overly lactic or salty. Well balanced authentic juicy fruits, Lacto, spice, salt, and pale/wheat malts. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
