12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 6/22/2018. Pours moderately hazy reddish/pinkish orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy light pink head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy blueberries, cucumber, fruit skin, lemon, lime, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape, coriander, sea salt, hay, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, fruit, salt, coriander, and pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy blueberries, cucumber, fruit skin, lemon, lime, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape, coriander, sea salt, hay, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light coriander spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy/tart/tangy blueberries, cucumber, fruit skin, lemon, lime, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape, coriander, sea salt, hay, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, fruit, salt, coriander, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering tartness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, fairly acidic/tangy, and lightly sticky/saline balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is an excellent fruited gose! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, fruit, salt, coriander, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish. Not overly lactic or salty. Well balanced authentic juicy fruits, Lacto, spice, salt, and pale/wheat malts. Liked this a bit more than the watermelon. It had some spice astringency, which was not present here. This also had more tart/tangy fruit presence from the berries. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
