Appearance: The Druid sports a dark golden-orange body, thoroughly hazed, with a slim, white head.
Smell: A forward note of both basic clove and white peppercorn, some grape, orchard fruits, and a disinterested kiss of citrus against the firmly bready, scantly toasted malts.
Taste: A bready pale maltiness overlayed with a fruity array of lemon, apple, peach, and green grapes. Sweetened with a small lick of golden syrup. Thin sliver of dried herb, minor hints of clove and chewing gum. Semi-dry, crispish finish featuring a bit of minerality.
Mouthfeel: A bit above medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: A nice, full-flavored Belgian offering.
