On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 9.7%. The colour could maybe be called "extremely dark brown", but is, for all practical purposes, more black than brown. Low beige head. Dominant aroma of liquorice, also roasted malts, dark chocolate and mild coffee. The flavour is distinctly roasty with strong notes of liquorice (but only moderately sweet), roasted malts and coffee. A well made beer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
