Crowler thanks to Toby. Pale golden pour, small foamy head. Aroma is pine and juniper, a little citrus. Taste is more of the juniper, malts and a bit of wall paper paste. Gets a little funky near the finish.

also called grade a, a white ipa, but not quite sure why the give it the white designation. usually thats reserved for ipa types either fermented with a belgian type yeast or else packing a ton of wheat malt, but this one doesnt really seem to be doing either, so its a strange use of the term for me. a surprisingly copper colored beer, not as pale as expected given the name, but a nice frothy and creamy thick white head on it, good clarity, and it looks nicely refined. the nose does have a little something from the yeast, slightly estery even if im not sure id call it belgian, mostly overrun by all the hops, which hit on pine resin and floral honey for me, some real bitterness too, but not overdone just robust. the flavor is similar, some white wine notes to the ferment up front, an english breadiness to it later on, again strange for the style, and very hoppy, ipa first, resinous and dank, pine and grapefruit, sweet orange, fresh flowers, green grass, very very fresh, thanks to my buddy for getting the can at the brewery for me last week, their crowlers have been awesome across the board. this is a cool beer, not quite what i am used to in the style, but a good ipa through and through, malty balance and bold northwestern hops, relatively refreshing too for being as hearty as it is, aided by high carbonation. delicious and just different enough to stand out.
