Growler from Premium Draught in Houston.
A: Pours a dark brown color. A two finger beige head forms with good retention and lace.
S: Light roast and coffee, some dry chocolate even. Toasted malts, and a little grainy.
T: Like the nose, a bit of roast up front. Dry chocolate, that becomes slightly bitter. Toasted malts. Maybe a little to simple.
M/O: A light body that is effervescent. I like my stouts to have a little more softness to them, but not bad. Finishes dry. This is really simple, and that makes this pretty easy to drink.
Oasis has a knack for simple, low abv styles. This fits the mold, and I love these kinds of styles, but this just misses the mark. Overall enjoyable, but nothing particularly noteworthy.
