At 6.5%, definitely not a session beer. It poured a cloudy golden color with a 1/2 finger foamy head. Retention is decent. Lacing is good. Has a malty citrus aroma with mild piney resin. Get more tangerine than anything else. Malty citrus taste. Nice bitterness on the end with some mild piney resin. Smooth and creamy. Medium bodied with low to moderate carbonation.

Poured from tap into shaker, minimal head nice lacing. Turbid golden in the glass. Citrus up front in your face followed up my more tropical goodness along with some pineapple, bitterness is there for the ride, but not overwhelming. Nice full mouthfeel, I guess this is a metamodern on steroids.

Slight update:
Newer versions of this are not nearly as opaque/hazy. Most recent pour is nearly clear Golden/orange. Just FYI.
On tap at D&T Drive Inn, Houston.
A: Pours basically opaquely hazed with a deep orange color. As this warms, it becomes just a tad clearer. A two finger white head forms, and gently recedes. Plenty of lace is left behind.
S: Citrus hops burst out with orange rind, even papaya/cantaloupe fruit. Ridiculous juicy fruits from the hops. Though a sturdy bitterness lingers, with a touch of grains in the background. Love it.
T: Like the nose, citrus fruits are up front and center. Orange and lemon rind, which gives way to that amazing melon character. Juicy, semi sweet cantaloupe. A bit of pale malts, and a touch of grains, which is not a detriment at all. As soon as I think this will vanish to nothing. a firm bitterness comes forth to hold everything together. Really well done.
M/D: A medium body with beautiful carbonation. The crisp bite shines and is never muddled. Very simple and straight forward in that regard. It all melds into something that is supremely drinkable and enjoyable.
People all over the country are clamoring for "New England Style IPA's." This certainly has a hazy character to it, and would hate to impugn on all the so called experts that put down anything resembling this "style," that is outside all the hyped BS. Though honestly I just don't care if it is or isn't. This is just a damn good IPA, and basically an amped up Meta Modern. So no wonder this is excellent.

On tap at Axelrad. The beer pours a bright yellow-orange haze with a white head. The aroma is heavenly; dank citrus and hops for days. It tastes absolutely perfect. What a wonderful display of dank citrus filled hops! The flavors cascade over your palate and come swirling back for another go-around. This is a near perfect beer, and could certainly stand up to NE IPA's.
