"Dry rice lager dry hopped with Sorachi Ace" on-draught @ the brewery.
4.80% ABV. IBU 28.
Clear and bright. Yellow-gold colour. Obviously filtered. Frothy off-white head.
Sorachi is showcased brilliantly judging by the aroma. Floral yet dry. Cracked malt. Rice adjunct. Average aromatic intensity.
Drinks clean and easy, balancing rice adjunct with honeyed malts and an overt floral and dill herb-emphatic Sorachi Ace hop profile.
Smooth, dry, well-carbonated, light-bodied, refreshing. Not oily or astringent or otherwise problematic.
Highly drinkable and true to the style, though it's lacking in terms of complexity and depth of flavour.
