Toasty, biscuit-like malt flavors coasting in equilibrium with hoppy freshness while carbonation and light sweetness finish clean on your palate. Vienna and Munich malts are used to brew this Belgian Style Ale.

16 ounce can.

A pretty cloudy amber pour, fairly small head of foam.

Nose consists of caramel, bread, brown sugar.

Tastes of brown sugar, bread, bitter hops (mild)

I don't get anything that reminds me of Belgian style but it is a decent Amber.

Complex malty flavors and mouth feel; hints of caramel; hops more noticeable than most ambers, but not off-putting; would make a good intro to the malty side of things for someone new to craft beers or used to IPA's, or a step deeper for Fat Tire fans

Maltbomb, Fruity, Caramel, Buttery

This one comes off right away as a very malty Amber Ale, still trying to figure out why the hell the term “Belgian” is used on the label. Big malt backbone with toffee and bready overtones, easy drinking throughout. Still not seeing it, give us a story why. Enjoyable for the most part but our minds are continually distracted by the “style” reference. Lets just move on and hopefully no one will notice. ;-)

This is very interesting. Caramel malts, nutty pecan, kilned grain and barley set you up for a standard Irish Red. Suddenly there's a Belgian yeast of clove, peppercorn, phenolic and bubblegum. Not sure about it as its two very different flavors that don't meld but still hold up.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a medium brown color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of fruits, yeast, some sweetness. Taste is malts, fruits, a light sweetness, some hops are making their presence felt. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall a good tasting beer worth trying.

Aroma is sweet, caramelly, and deeply toasted, with a bit of pepto phenols and a hint of fruity specialty malt.

Flavor is kinda off. There's a sourness that doesn't jive properly. Gives more of an acetic than citric impression.. It's slightly metallic. I'm also picking up on some banana and clove phenols. It being a Belgian ale would make more sense than a red.
