More bitter than I would like and feel like it could use more balance. Taking away some of that bitterness could help that.

I'm not sure why I keep trying session IPAs. This one is ok, maybe slightly above average for a session. The taste is kind of hop heavy and it lacks balance (indicative of the style). It was a tall boy local can, which is nice.

16 ounce can, no dating on it that I could find. One of my friends gave me this can recently, and I have no idea when he bought this. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a hazy golden/orange color with a huge off-white head. Had to let this settle down a bit before I could pour more beer into the glass. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells like citrusy (grapefruit, citrus peel) and piney hops. Taste is similar to the aroma, except there's some bready malt and a weird bitter finish noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and smooth with a lot of carbonation. I would like to try this one fresher sometime, it's not a bad brew at all.

Pours with a nice amber color and good sticky head into a tall cold glass from a growler. Not a strong aroma at all. Bit of a grapefruit feel early on and not too much hoppy bitterness. Very nice session IPA that isn't high alcohol. Good warm weather brew. Very drinkable.
