The nose on this beer is beautiful, but unfortunately that's where all the positive things that can be said about this beer end.
As with all the hazy 450 North beers I've had the haze color is more murky than hazy. The beer is way under carbonated. The flavor is not citirus or bitter and I think that's what's wrong with this beer. The two balance in this beer and leave nothing but the minimal malt to be the dominant flavor which simply does not work.
I hate when people say breweries are over hyped, but it seems 450 is just that.

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic 450 North glass, not sure when was canned but totally have confidence it is fresh coming from jzeilinger. Pours bright yellow orange like a glass of pineapple orange juice, with a massive two finger sticky white head that leaves nice patches of lace.
Smell is mango, papaya, pineapple, and grapefruit rind.
Taste follows tropical front to back, juicy papaya, guava, pineapple, and some mild grapefruit bitterness, really balanced.
Mouthfeel is a little bigger than medium, plenty of life, sticky not dry from the abundance of fresh hops, and so crazy crushable.
Overall this is another top tier NEIPA, would this in a blind taste test with many of the greats and see how it stacks up.

This pours a hazy orange color that edges closer to the brown side of orange, with a rich, fluffy white head. The first note I get on the nose is zesty orange peel from the Mandarina Bavaria hops, accompanied by tropical fruit aromas.
The taste has loads of dank, ripe oranges, some mango, and a peppery flavor that first presented itself as a smoky flavor, but sharpened to spicy pepper as the beer warmed.
Most Citra-hopped IPA’s are dominated by that varietal in my experience, but the addition of the Mandarina Bavaria hops took this beer a direction that I didn’t anticipate, but really enjoyed. An exceptionally well-executed IPA, IMHO.

A - Pours an opaque orange tan color with a massively thick, creamy, white head that's very sticky on the sides of my 450 North glass.
S - Pungent, bright citrus aroma, oranges, papaya, and mango.
T - Taste follows the nose with oranges, papaya, mango, and spicy/peppery citrus rind. After the sip there's a long lingering peppery citrus rind with some resiny goodness.
M - Thick and chewy with a very dry finish on the back of the tongue.
O - Another rock solid IPA from the folks at 450 North. Recommended.

A pint can from a four pack with a date sticker of 1/18 on the carrier. Poured in my Storm Peak 'Dogfish style' IPA glass for the review.
Look- Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a creamy finger of white foam. It slowly settles revealing heavy lacing.
Smell- Orange zest, grapefruit, passionfruit and floral esters.
Taste- Orange slice, pineapple, mango, floral and a hint of peppery spice in the finish.
Feel- Thin and pillowy soft.
Overall- A soft easy drinking beer with a pleasant blend of juicy citrus and floral. While it may not be in the upper crust of the NE style IPA's, it is really good and I plan on purchasing another 4 pack.
