Looks great in the glass and pours with a thin head. Good lacing on the glass - very appealing looking!
I’m not sure if I had a different batch but on the nose there was a few citrus notes but the taste was really bad. It was way too booze forward, almost like alcohol had been added like drinking a Snake Venom.
Looking at the other reviews it looks like I had a bad batch, but consistency is important!

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours light to moderately hazy golden amber with a one finger white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and dank hops, lemon, orange and a little green onion and dankness. Flavor is pale malt, citrus, piney and dank hops, orange, mixed tropical fruit, especially pineapple. Long, lingering resinous and citrusy finish with a fine mix of herbal and cryo hop bitterness as well as a little caramel not obvious in the early taste.. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Dang! I almost didn't get this because this brewery seemed to like hazy and slushy IPAs, but glad I gave it a try. The hop bill is busy (4 varieties with one in cryo), but all come together well. Citrus and pine dominate, but there is some solid, if light tropical fruit, which is much appreciated outside hazy IPAs. I've never been excited by southern hop varieties, but this was dry hopped with Galaxy, and whatever its contribution works great for me. Close to my beloved West Coast hop profile, but with an extra taste of tropical fruit. This is a good example of a higher ABV ale where the flavors get nicely enhanced without being overtly boozy. I like this a lot and hope to see something else from this brewery in a style I like. This popped up out of nowhere in our area and I'm going to grab another while its here.

Appearance: Cloudy orange, with off-white suds and a bit of ornate lace. Nice.

Aroma: Strong and juiced-up hops — orange, mango, pineapple. Tropical fruit delight!

Taste: Chewy, heavy and thick hop juice here. Still, this one drinks smooth and with plenty of fruit. A superior big IPA with serious ABV kick.
