Our XXL line of Slushys will contain even more fruit than our XLs and will sit at 10% ABV. Royalty was conditioned on just an absurd amount of blackberry, pomegranate and raspberry.

For a day when commoners feel like royalty, Marti Gras is a day of indulgence. -fitting for a smoothie-style sour ale with blackberry, pomegranate and raspberries.
450 North rolls out Royalty- an ale that pours like melted milkshake but with a dark ruby-mauve density. As an irresistible scent of macerated fruits, cider, wine and cream swirl about the nose, the first sip leans in with intense dark berry sweetness, cereal, pastry and dough.
Creamy, rich, dense and downright thick, the acidity fights through the puree and gives the session a tart impression of green apple, white grape, lime, lemon and gooseberry. But the strong overcast of berries are undeniable and sweeten the session to the point of pie filling and cobbler, equipped with seed, stem and peel.
Full bodied, cloying and unnecessarily biting, the ale carries a pectin tannic quality that both balances a small portion of fruit sweetness but serves as a detractor for true smoothie taste. But if you have the tastebuds of a nine year old, then this beer will suit you just fine.

Darkly vibrant purple with a short but uniform foamy magenta head.
This is all the thick gooey blackberry pie in beer form times ten, but it's not too sweet, with a seedy herbality and a mild bubbly thin carbonation finishing semi-sticky. There's even a hint of lime within a bite of tartness, but it comes back to that herbal pomegranate and berries, which might be a tad more expressive if not for the amazing thickness.

Pours an awesome looking purple color . Flavor is off the charts fruity and complex . Hard to believe it’s 10 percent.
