Corn Maze Beer Fest exclusive
L: Pours viscous and pulpy purple red, with a color reminding me of ruby prune juice. It is thick and full on murky. 2 fingers of head from the pour that settled quickly with fruit sediment clinging to the glass.
S: Smells like mixed berry purée with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. Smell reminds me of a berry cobbler, comprising a perfect balance of fresh blackberry and raspberry tartness with cinnamon and sugar.
T: Taste is great as well. Blackberry and raspberry-forward, lending a fruity tartness that rides from start to finish, seemingly more punctual on the finish. The aftertaste is really interesting, comprising cinnamon at first but then graham cracker takes over. Vanilla is subtle throughout but is noticeable.
F: Thick and full bodied with creamy texture. Zero evidence that this is 8%.
O: I mean, I know the hype 450N has built around slushies, but my wife and I are rather impressed with our first XL. The flavor and aroma is fantastic, and the feel is also superb. This is not something you would want to drink in quantity, but it is perfect sharing it with my wife. I am very glad to try and would drink again/recommend. Cheers!
