Opaque dark maroon with a short bubbly Pepto head dying to nothing while leaving a fine pulp on the glass.
Thick but sharp, the thin bubbly carbonation cuts in tandem with the biting sourness that the lime seems to achieve, making this instantly more sour than most 450 slushys. It's still delish in its own fruit joose/slushy right, but while it looks like a berry juice bomb, it tastes more like a citrusy cocktail.
My inner child weeps at the realization that this tastes nothing like the inspiration--a rare miss for 450 considering most of their candy beers are scarily accurate at mimicking the real thing. There's still plenty of berry present, but it doesn't quite come together as a cohesive, classic bowl of Froot Loops. Gosh!
