What if? What if the guy who invented the creamsicle had access to peach instead of orange? And what if he was a beer fan? If those pieces would have fallen into place, then they would have beated 450 North to this flavor in ale making.

The Peach Tang Fluff version of Slushmallow opens with a dense, full pulp pour of heavy cream, matt orange and peach accented hues while patiently pulling a cream tarnish froth from the ale's body underneath. With a strong scent of citrus, cider, stone fruit and vinous character, the perfumy ale soon leads to a candied sweet taste of taffy, rollup and poundcake with those sweet cream and fruity tendencies.

As the flavors fully saturate the tastebuds, the middle palate is awash in all-things-peach flavor and their resemblances to orange, apricot and cantaloup. Juicy, creamy and rich, the session is set up like a melted freeze pop laded with vanilla, cream and a hint of cidery alcohol as the session wanes.

Full bodied, creamy and unapologetically sweet, the cloying sour ale finishes malty-sweet with cereal, marshmallow and sherbet flavor deep into an aftertaste of fruit skin spices and light hop bitterness.
