Dark red like beet juice. Head is dark red too. Thick consistency. Nose is very much like cake batter. Taste is very sweet almost like a blackberry cobbler. Smoothie for sure.

this is actually really good, one of the better of these huge grotesquely fruited kettle sours they are known for, it actually sort of drinks like a fruit smoothie, pulpy and chunky and deeply purple, and it somehow pours through a draft line, feels kind of frozen to me with this super thick texture, but its actually not insanely sweet, and frankly i was worried about the artificiality of blue raspberry, but its actual blueberries that lead this one, quite authentic honestly, and i can see the appeal, although i still think a pint can of this would be way too much. crayon purple, max saturation, looks straight from the vitamix, beet juice colored. it smells more like fruit than marshmallow and vanilla, which i appreciate, straight up frozen blueberries from the bag to the blender, no joke thats how this looks, smells, and tastes. the blue raspberry part is way back which i dont mind, and the sourness is low, this doesnt even really seem bacterial, sweetness offsets any tang but this one finds a better balance to me than a lot of their others do. so much body, very little malt, zero hops, and this doesnt even really seem fermented. its so thick and fruit pulpy that it seems almost healthy, really far away from beer, but flavorful and good, no carbonation because its so thick, but it has an airiness too, like bubbles frozen in suspension in it, not permanent on the palate either. im not a fan of the style, i find it insane beer has gotten this far out there and that its actually selling, but this is better than most, from these guys or from others, one of the good ones, actually pretty impressive, even if its missing basically any recognizable beer element...
