A 16 oz can from the May 2020 release.

Look- A murky orange/grapefruit look. Thick with very little head. No surprise there is a lot of pulp in there.

Smell- The apricot , orange, and pineapple seem the strongest. So many things mixed in that it is difficult to list them all.

Taste- A citrus forward mix of apricot, oranges, guava, and papaya. The pineapple was a nice little follow-up. I really didn't get much of the passionfruit, but there is lot going on.

Mouthfeel- Low carbonation with a pulpy citrus finish.

Overall- A fantastic slushy brew coming in at 5.8% abv.

The constant blurring of the lines that separates sour ale from spiked punch gives 450 North it's content to ride that boundary now with apricot, guava, papaya, passionfruit and pineapple for what's basically an beer-centirc spiked punch.

Just like fresh-squeezed juices right into the glass, Hawaiian Juice pours like fresh squeezed fruit juices along with extra pulp while teasing nose with a tangy tropical, citrus, cidery and winey scent. A flow of soft sweet cream with the tangy scent of tropical fruit and fruit cocktail lead into a rich taste of condensed fruit, sorbet and sherbet as the initial taste is dense with cereal and candied fruit.

As the smoothie sour ale beats on the tastebuds, its nearly teeth coating tartness is strong and refreshing, juicy and plush while notions of smoothie, slushy and milkshake come to mind. As the complement of passionfruit and papaya folds into fruit punch flavors, the suggestions of vanilla and pineapple soothe the senses before a brisk acidity steps in late. Finishing with a strong lean toward apricot and orange flavor, a light pithy bitterness only sells the fruit peel character even more.

Full bodied, tangy and firmly meant as a spiked punch, the sweet tropical fruit remnants outlast any sourness as a long aftertaste of fruit puree takes the session into an alcoholic sherbet direction.

A - Dark golden opaque peach color with very miniscule lacing.

S - Passionfruit, guava, and apricot. The aroma resembles Tropicana fruit juice.

T - Apricot, guava, passionfruit, and papaya from start to finish with a slight bit of tartness.

M - Silky with some pulpy chewiness.

O - This stuff could pass for fruit juice. Is it fruit juice???
