Haven't had a beer from 450 North in ages so when I saw this at Joe Canal's in Woodbridge recently, I was thrilled to get a single can of this to have here at home. This was indeed a smoothy that almost didn't feel like a beer as it reminded me more of something that I'd get at a carnival or convenience store but in the end, this was another Sour that these guys have become well-known for!
This poured like tang and had a lively and loud head full of big bubbles that settled quickly. Lots of mango in the hue and in the muted nose, along with pulpy orange and sweet vanilla as the orange juice and banana came through on the palate. Lushly thick, this felt like the stuff that stayed behind in the blender that you couldn't ever quite get out but somehow, these guys have managed to pull the feat off. Full in body, the pulp *was* the lacing to this as there was a ton to wash out after I (quickly) finished this off.
Booze? Is it here? I don't even know as it didn't matter since I enjoyed this so much. Instagram has this beer being released a little over three months ago and thankfully, it felt like it just came out of the machine - er, kettle as I would have loved to have had more. Stuff like this makes seeking beer worth the time and effort I put into it and also puts a smile on my face. So glad to see 450 North in these parts as all of their offerings, including this one, put a smile on my face!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
