The can says "STORE COLD, DRINK FRESH" but there doesn't appear to be a date on the can or the sticker label.
Appearance: The body of the beer is mostly opaque but there are parts that appear deeper than others. It has a dark peach colored body and short fluffy white head that quickly fades out to a fluffy ring. Not much retention and there's a light sheet of lacing.
Aroma: It has a moderately strong fruity scent which smells a bit like Flintstones Vitamins. There are notes of grape, cherry, and nondescript berry. There is a light peach scent as the nose gets closer to the glass.
Taste: There are a lot of berry flavors up front; blackberry and a little blueberry with a bit of what tastes like raspberry. The middle of the palate has a bit more mellow flavors with hints of grape and peach. Nothing changes towards the back of the palate. The aftertaste is slightly medicinal berry like biting into an aspirin.
Mouthfeel: It is smooth and easy to drink with good carbonation. There is a light tartness which is pleasant. There is this somewhat medicinal bitterness which throws things off a bit but overall it drinks pretty well.
Overall: The can states that this is a "SMOOTHIE-STYLE SOUR ALE WITH RASPBERRY, STRAWBERRY, PINEAPPLE, LEMON, ORANGE & GUMMY BEARS." Not all of these flavors made an appearance but a noticeable berry character came through. There was a bit of a medicinal character that came through and it's hard to tell if that's just from the fruits themselves or possibly from the gummy bears, but it just felt a little strange. The beer does have decent flavors and some nice aromas so I could probably grab another one from time to time. The beer has a kind of Flintstones Vitamin and Fruity Pebbles flavor and aroma to it so I would recommend it to people who might enjoy those.
