Poured from a 16 ounce can into a tulip glass.
Look- Very deep burgundy, opaque, visible particulate at the margins, zero head even with propagation , granular residue on the glass wall.
Smell- Cherry, blueberry, slight caramel, medium strength of scent.
Taste- Blueberry, cherry, caramel, moderately sour, mildly sweet, medium strength of flavor.
Feel- Between medium and full body, silky, below average carbonation, moderately sour, mildly sweet, mildly dry finish.
Overall- Very deep burgundy and opaque with zero head. Bouquet was blueberry and cherry with slight caramel. Flavor was also blueberry and cherry, but more of the caramel came through. Feel was between medium and full, but very silky from the addition of lactose. Overall this beer did not have a flavor profile that meshed together well and that adversely affected it’s enjoyability.
