Poured from a 16 ounce can into a tulip glass.
Look- Dull pink, plentiful visible particulate, opaque, leaves granular residue on glass wall, very light pink sudsy head, average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Raspberry, bubble gum, pineapple, banana, high strength of scent.
Taste- Pineapple, bubble gum, banana, raspberry, high strength of flavor.
Feel- Medium body, average carbonation, moderately sour, mildly sweet, moderately mouth watering finish.
Overall- This was my first experience with jackfruit and it was definitely interesting. This beer will spark me to try a jackfruit the next time I see one. This beer had a nontraditional color like this style normally does. Both the bouquet and flavor were high in strength, but the flavors were not perfectly matched for each other. The feel was medium body, which is a little thinner than I’ve become accustomed to with this style. Overall this beer provided a unique experience that was enjoyable and pleasant.
