Dial up the smoothie machine, 450 North is making beer again. But this time its the fruits of pineapple, kiwi, raspberry and vanilla cream that culminate in a beer that should be an alcoholic dole whip with raspberry.
But its darker berry character allows Just Dab It to trend more winey in appearance but with a densely packed mauve character. As its scent also trends highly raspberry-like, the underlying cereal flavors are creamy with cake batter, shortcake and sourdough. The fruit cocktail leaps ahead as the sour crosses mid-palate, shining once again with the red berries above the tropical fruits. All wrapped in a cocoon of vanilla and whipping cream and the session promises smoothness and tanginess. ...but there's this annoying hop bite in the finish that highlights the fruit pectins and upsets the taste that really wants to be sweeter.
Full bodied for sour ale, the sour is pleasant in its fruit portrayal until it tries to be a beer with that unnecessary bite in the end.

Pours a thick purplish red with 2 fingers of foamy head that persists and leaves a fair bit of lacing. Aroma of raspberry, pineapple, and vanilla. Taste follows nose. Fruit juice with alcohol in it.

16oz can. No dating information found.
Murky body, with the color of raspberry and rhubarb. Brief bubbly pinkish head recedes to a cap. Leaves behind a coating of fruit puree.
Aroma is vanilla and fruity - some citrus, raspberry, and pineapple.
Taste is a swirl of fruit - raspberry, pineapple, and citrus. Along with the sweet vanilla. Gets a little tart in the aftertaste.
Thicker mouth feel. Produces a quiet dryness. Supportive carbonation.
No alcohol detected. Kind of like a quick and dirty version of a fruit lambic.
