1 PINT can
Served in a pint glass
This beer pours like a smoothie. It is a murky orangish tinged, dark red hue. It has little head.
I get banana and cherry. Oh, and there is the sour apple. The strawberry is the hardest to pick out. It smells both sweet and tart. Still good though.
I can unfortunately get the banana right away. I get some cherry in the aftertaste. In between it is a jumbled mess. No flavors stand out.
Full bodied with a thick, creamy mouthfeel
Not the best of the smoothie sours from 450N for my palate.

Continuing to blurring the lines between what is beer and what is candy, 450 North is perfectly content to straddle the fence with their smoothie sour ale that's chocked full with banana, cherry, raspberry, strawberry and sour apple in true blue taffy fashion.
Just like pureed fruit cocktail, Chewy Taffy pours like a murky, peachy-mauve mud puddle while drawing in the nose with a full and fruity scent. A dunk of red berries with the soothing scent of vanilla, tropical fruit and apple lead into a richer taste of sweet cream, sorbet and sherbet as the initial taste is rife with cereal and fruit-laced sweetness.
The smoothie sour ale fully saturates the tastebuds as its middle palate in nearly teeth churning in its intense. juicy, creamy and rich taste. Notions of sour jam and fruit rollup certainly come to mind just as the listed fruits drape in melted sorbet and the heavy suggestions of vanilla before a tangy and cidery balance steps in late. Finishing with a somewhat tannic bite and a citrusy bitterness, the late taste is lightly winey, cider-like and met with an unsettled fruit skin bitterness.
Full bodied, cloying and firmly meant as a dessert beer, the malty-sweetness and candied remnants outlast the sourness as a long aftertaste of fruit skins, seeds, piths and pulp linger deeply on the tongue once more.
