If doubling your pleasure and pleasuring your fun is good, then tripling it has got to be better. Juicy Fruit almost got it right.
Pouring with a fluffy dark ruby and mauve color, Triple Fluff opens with a dense and full pulpy pour of heavy cream, matte purple and ruddy maroon hues while patiently pulling a creamy neon pink froth from it's body underneath. With a strong scent of dark berry, pitted fruit and winey character, the luscious ale soon leads to a candied sweet taste of taffy, rollup and poundcake with those sweet cream and fruity tendencies.
As the fruit flavors fully flood the tastebuds, the middle palate is awash in all-things-berry and their resemblances to raspberry and sweezebox. Juicy, creamy and rich, the session is set up like slightly meted gelato laded with vanilla, cream and a hint of red wine alcohol and fruit pectins as the session wages onward.
Full bodied, creamy and unapologetically sweet, the playfully cloying ale finishes malty-sweet with cereal, vanilla and sherbet flavor deep into an aftertaste of fruit skins, skins and light hop bitterness.
