A vote for Pedro is a vote for progressive beer everywhere. 450 North spearheads this campaign with the backing of apricot, blueberry, wild cherry and marshmallow to push beer society into tomorrow's fruity direction.

Rusty mauve and purple, Sushy XL - Vote For Pedro billows with a lavender stained froth before falling flat. What's left behind is an aromatic fruit cocktail of berry, citrus, cider, wine and dark pitted fruits. As this sweet and creamy fruit display swirls on the early palate, it does so with the underpinnings of cereal, taffy, creamed bandy and sweet cream..

The fruit flavors only expand on the middle palate as the dark fruits of cherry and blueberry give the tartness a red wine effect on the tastebuds. Tropical fruits of apricot gives the session an underlying fruitiness that seems peach, mango and orange-like to fuse with the beer's natural vinous and cidery tone. A late palate of sweet and tart retains its fruitiness for a slight fruit-skin bite for balance.

Lavishly full, thick and pleasantly cloying, the creamy sour ale finishes sweet-tart with a long and fruity aftertaste. Wrapped in vanilla cream, the session sees extra longevity with marshmallowy sweetness. It looks like its an uphill battle for this newcomer.

This beer pours a murky, dark purple color. It has no head and fruit purée sticks to the side of the glass.

Blueberry, apricot, and marshmallow is all there. I have to search for the cherry.

Blueberry forward. Tart. Cherry in the finish. Some vanilla from the marshmallows.

Full bodied with a thick mouthfeel

Typical smoothie sour. Delicious and filling and goes down way too quick.
