Taking all the senses back to a day when the taste of alcohol was never preferred but their effects sure were, 450 North breaks out the punch. Back when pure alcohol was soaked in a tub of fruity punch this beer would’ve been a hit!

Pouring a bright ruby color but draped in a dense glow, Echidna breaks free from the Sonic video game and greets the adult senses with a basic scent of fruity and tart fruit punch- part tropical, part berry, part citrus and perfumy with notions of kool-aid especially once the sweet elixir hits the tongue.

Tropical with pineapple and citrusy with lemon and lime, other complementary flavors of cherry, red berry, passionfruit, orange and mango, the taste is that familiar hawaiian punch equipped with sherbet, fun dip and pixie sticks. Any attempt to balance with either acidity or bitterness falls far short to pulling this concoction to within the beer realm.

Delicious for a sugary sweet and fruity beverage, this Sonic inspired drink is much more than kool-aid than either smoothy or beer.
