1 Pint can
Served in a nonic pint glass
This beer pours a somewhat dark shade of pink. Tan chunks are visible in suspension until they settle to the bottom of my glass. The fleeting head doesn't leave a trace.
It has a sweet, sugar candy aroma. Green apple is the standout. I have never found dragonfruit to have much aroma or flavor.
Sweet flavor right off the bat. Kind of like liquid Smarties. Then I get some tartness and green apple. Hints of kiwi.
Fuller bodied with a thicker mouthfeel
It's like drinking a green apple Jolly Rancher. It went down really easy.

In an effort to collect all the goods, at the top of that list are green apple, kiwi and dragonfruit. And if you think they would pile onto a sour ale you’d be wrong.
And if you think the beer is green, you’d be wrong as well. Pouring a deep orange blush and light plum color, Master Emerald rises with a strong fruity scent that circulates around jolly rancher and kool-aid. As the first sip ensues, a sweetly accented flavor brings out those green flavors despite its ruby appearance.
A sour apple flavor does bring about tart tendencies although the label says IPA. Kiwi, dragon fruit and green apple all suggests something fruity and tart, but a late ploy for bitterness brings a slight pectin bite that helps to offset a small margin of sweetness and fruitiness.
Full bodied, plump and stubbornly sweet, the ale easily mistakens for sour ale as any attempt to create the balance, dryness, refreshment or bitterness of IPA is a long shot.
