It's like they say, if life gives you lemons then make lemonade beer. 450 North is happy to oblige as they pour copious amounts of lemon, pink lemonade flavor and raspberry into a smoothie-styled sour ale.
Deep and foggy pink, mauve and peach, Pink Lemonade Jeeter is a welcomed installment of 450 North's Sushy XL series as a lack of froth leads to scent of citrus, sugar, berry, tartness and cider. As the glass coating ale leads to a palate coating sip, the taste is awash in a creamy lemon flavor. With hints of raspberry giving the ale its color and a little bright red berry flavor, the fruits are draped in a candy coated sweetness with the luxurious creaminess of shortcake, cereal and vanilla cream. Balanced with acidity, the ale shares the tartness of lime, pink grapefruit, green apple, white grape and gooseberry for a sweet and tart interplay on the finish.
Full bodied and creamy, the session favors sweetness as it its near cloying and flavorful without giving up so much drinkability or refreshment.
