I never thought that i wanted bananas in my cinnamon toast cereal. But I never thought I wanted it sour either. But here I am wanting another.
Talkin' about a milk pour, 450 North's Coconut Cinnamon Toasted Munch looks like white russian in the glass with a clumpy froth that forms on top. As the perfume of cinnamon and cream is laced with citrus and cider, the first sip reveals a sweet cream cereal accented flavor with a dash of cinnamon for balance. Add in the tartness of green apple and lemon and we have an acidic cereal character that emerges.
Full bodied and cloying for sour ale, this concoction is very un-beer-like but is oddly tasty and satisfying as a cereal flavored seltzer or cocktail.
