Modeled after the popular fruity kid's cereal, 450 North brewers awaken the child in all of us with an alcoholic concocted beverage with the fruit, cream and cereal character that we all love about fruit loops.
Densely packed orange at it's pour, Toucan Loops carries the appearance of melted sherbet in the glass. As the scent of citrus and tropical fruit arise, they dominate all other aromas, giving the sense of orange cream with mango. Sweet in taste, the cereal riddled ale is candy-like with notions of push-up ice cream, sorbet and sherbet with those leading orange and mango flavors. Lime and lemon follow through with a citrus tang while sweet cream envelops the session, settling in with a soft undercurrent of fruit loops cereal and aspartame.
Full bodied, gently cloying and finishing sweet and tart, the session concludes with a very happy sweet tooth.
