Living in the lime light is no easy task. 450 North resides there for just a quick session, one made of all things lime.
Pouring with a dullish nuclear green, Tropical Tincture shows shyness with froth but radiance with the bold scent of lime. Citrus, cider and wine cooler can be found before a taste of simple syrup, squeezebox and fructose frame sweeter early impressions. As the flavor of lime grows into the proportions of jolly rancher, kool-aid and margarita, a hint of vanilla steps in for smoothness and roundness. Trending tart, refreshing yet still sugary, the session is more cocktail-like than of beer.
Full for sour ale but off-cloying, the one-dimensional sweetness is easy for a taste but allows palate fatigue rather quickly.
