Black with a very thick, foamy, tan colored head. Way too carbonated! Taste is basically malty but harsh. The hops are a little too noticeable, and their flavor seems out of place. Aftertaste is slightly soapy. I suspect it wasn't brewed properly; otherwise I think it could be a decent stout.
