Poured from a 330ml can.

Pours a nicely hazy amber with a thin white head . The smell is strongly of hops , citrus , pine and overripe fruit and the taste follows this with quite a lot of alcohol taste , slight bitterness and sticky, sweet finish .
The mouthfeel is a little syrupy.
Overall, this tastes and feels strongly of alcohol . It's not very bad but it's note great . Vocation's Life and death does this style so much better . This feels a bit too unpolished . Not my thing.

Tea colour, clear. White foam, tall, persistent, made up of small bubbles, rather leaves little decoration on the glass.
Hoppy aroma, intensely fruity, sweet with a slight caramel note in the background.
Taste sweet, broken by a hoppy bitterness. Here too the caramel notes are definite, more intense.
Medium saturation. Full body. Texture smooth, soft. Aftertaste long, sweet with a dry finish.

It being Friday 'n all I thought why not...
L- Quite a vivid mid chestnut brown in colour. Very minor haze and a 1cm cream coloured fine-bubble head. ps. holds up well.
S- Quite earthy and a minor fruit note, that I think tends towards apple.
T- Minor fruit, earthy base and a moderate hoppy-dry lick across the palate in the finish.
F- It has a decent malty body that gives it a robustness. That 'reward on the palate' works well as we head into cooler months ahead. The hops are clearly more contemporary in style but thankfully this is in no way a hipster 'hop-bomb' nor 'fruit crush'.
O- A pleasant surprise. Contemporary and yet expressed in a balanced way with evident quality. I'd happily drink this one again.
330ml crafty can bought from Waitrose, Trumpington, Cambridge. BB: 29-10/22 Produced 29-6/21 - 15 Months old from a big and busy supermarket... hmmm.

Can. Golden amber with a dense frothy head. Slight haze.
Sweet fruit aroma with light barley sugar and toffee. Some tangerine and mango.
Tastes similar. Light astringency.
Medium body and carbonation. On the tacky side.
Old school AIPA brewed in Germany.

330ml Can from Reilly's, Lisnaskea (£1.99):
Dark amber with a thin white lacing that's a little patchy on the surface & quite a still beer. There's some pine & dry stone fruits on the nose with a hint of grapefruit & citrus too but it's not the strongest. Caramel notes & sweeter malts see things out before the taste opens with pine & strong hop oils along with some citrus & grapefruit. It's a slightly sweet taste with some mango & orange coming through as well, then some sweet malts to close. It's a medium bodied beer with fairly strong carbonation & oily, dry finish that's quite bitter too.
