On tap in Greenville SC in a Gouden Carolus glass.

Cloudy amber-apricot body with a short and weak white head.
Aroma: complex mix of ripe fruits and grains
Flavor: partially follows the aroma with plenty of fruit notes and more wheat and caramel evident. Mild bitterness.

Feel: the body is medium-light with well hidden alcohol; medium carbonation.

Overall: flavorful and distinct wheat ale.

This is a great drinking wheat ale. Pours a hay-like color with some bubbles, smells like wheat and sweet agave. Some honey. Taste is great for a wheat beer, has nice depth, and the sweetness from the agave makes this very drinkable. Feel is pretty thick for a wheat beer. Hides the booze very well. Cheer!

A: Had this beer on-tap at Gene's Haufbrau, poured into a pint glass. Had a dark yellow color and a cloudy consistency. There was an inch of foamy, long-lasting head. Very good lacing.

S: Not surprisingly, a lot of wheat in the aroma with a definite sweetness as well.

T: Tasted of a good amount of wheat, some malt, and bit of citrus. The agave isn't as prevalent as I would have thought. Not a bad flavor. Tastes more like a hefeweizen than an American Pale Wheat Ale - much less astrigent.

F: A below average amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Light-bodied.

O: While this isn't my favorite style of beer, this is a decent, drinkable beer.

Pours a cloudy, maize color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Good retention and decent lacing. Smells of wheat, sweet malt, yeast, hint of citrus, and an earthy aroma that I'm assuming in agave. Fits the style of an American Pale Wheat Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with a low carbonation level. Tastes of wheat, sweet malt, slight yeast, earthiness (agave?), slight citrus, slight alcohol, and a hint of hop. Overall, a refreshing, smooth, and complex bodied beer. I am still untrained in the taste of agave, but I believe it is easily detected.
