12 oz can from the Wall of Beer (Clemson, SC; $2.19) with a March 2019 canning date.
Look: clear, copper colored body with a generous, creamy beige head that has very good retention.
Aroma: hop forward with a Euro hop aroma.
Flavor: plenty of malts used in this but it is nonetheless relatively hoppy for style. This proves to be a weakness as there is too much grass and hay flavor from the hops.
Overall: bold and hoppy for style.

Pours a dark amber (almost brick like in color) with a foamy white head. Smell is mostly malts, with some sweet caramel. The taste makes up for the lack of smell though... Get dark malts, some caramel, and on the end a slight amount of chocolate. Goes down smooth for a complex, yet easy drinking red ale.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Gene's Haufbrau, poured into a pint glass. Had an amber color and a clear consistency. There was a small amount of foamy head that lasted a fair amount of time. Below average lacing.
S: An okay, if unspectacular aroma of hops, malt, and caramel.
T: Tasted basically like it smelled: An average amount of hops, light malt notes, and a bit of caramel in the finish. The flavor here wasn't pushed quite far enough. It seemed a little on the watery side in spots.
F: A decently carbonated beer with a somewhat watery finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is one of those beers that isn't bad, but doesn't exactly wow you in a significant way.
