Got this on draft at Crafty Draught in Mt Pleasant. Arrives in due time and looks pretty good. Clear, amber golden hued, with a nice sized white head atop the beverage.

Aroma was a bit lacking. Smelled like beer but that's about it. No hop aroma, mostly a distinct graininess in the nose.

Flavor was a bit off. Again, tasted like a beer. Minimal hop flavor but a small bit of hop bite. Slight sourness and a bit of astringency. Highly carbonated, too much so if you ask me. Average beer at best with no qualities setting it apart from any other run of the mill pale ale.

On tap in SC.
Excellent looks: clear amber body with a large, creamy off-white head that has decent retention and that leaves Munroe spots of sticky lacing.
Weird aroma suggests some Brett or wild yeast. Mild bitterness. Much better flavor than the aroma suggests. Mild hop notes about equal in strength to the grains.
Medium+ carbonation with soft feel in a medium-light body

L: Had this beer on-tap at Gene's Haufbrau, poured into a pint glass. Had a light brown / golden color with a slightly hazy consistency. There was an inch of creamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.

S: There was a light hops aroma, with some fruit and a lot of malt as well.

T: Tasted basically like it smelled: An average amount of hops (about what you might expect from an APA), citrus fruit, a good shot of malt, and an earthy quality as well. This latter quality kind of throws everything out of whack. Could have been less prevalent.

F: A good amount of carbonation with a dry finish. Light-bodied.

O: An uneven beer in many respects, but it has its bright spots. Not your typical APA.
