Pint at Brews On the Alley (Seneca, SC).
This "golden stout" is clear with a color better described as amber. It arrived with a decent short white head.
Fortunately, it has a much stronger flavor than the weak aroma suggests. As expected with a blond or golden stout, this has nearly as much hop flavor as grain, and there's no dark roasted grain flavor. There is enough coffee flavor to suspect actual coffee beans have been used.
This stout would appeal to many people who "don't like stouts".
