On tap at Evo Pizza in North Charleston. Despite the name, a well-balanced brown ale.

This is a sweet brew. Sweet as in “awesome”. Smells completely of winter seasonal, especially verdant. Cloves and nutmeg dominate but aren’t obtrusive. Ginger as well (which becomes more evident on the back). Silky smooth on the mouthfeel, almost nitro like. “Pumpkin” beer to the max with all the callings and makings of quality and style. So nice.

L: Had this beer on-tap at House of Brews, poured into a tulip glass. Had a dark brown color and a cloudy texture. There was a half inch of foamy, off white, fairly long-lasting head. Below average lacing.
S: A decent aroma of the brown ale nuttiness, sweet potatoes, and some malt.
T: Had a light maltiness, a good amount of the advertised sweet potatoes, a little bit of hops, a tinge of coffee, a nutty quality, and some chocolate. Not a bad twist on the usual brown ale flavor, mainly due to the inclusion of the sweet potatoes. It isn't quite as aggressive as it could be, but good.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: In general, this is an interesting take on a straightforward style. Easy to drink.
