Handpump half-pint at the Southwark Tavern.
A: Clear brown body, thin tan head. Light lace. Ok, but uninteresting.
S: Pungent, lovely coffee underscored with brown sugar and some leafy hops. Great.
T: More caramel malt here, but some coffee + chocolate still come through. Mild hop bitterness on the tail end. Tasty.
M: Light body, smooth carbonation. Not bad.
O: Solid porter. The aroma was really amazing, and the flavor wasn't far behind. I'd happily drink it again any day.
