500 ml bottle, from The British Corner Shop. ABV is 4.2%. Beautiful clear deep golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of malts and grain, hints of toffee, also a whiff of dark fruits. Malty and biscuity flavour, a little fruit, again a hint of toffee, moderate hops. Fair enough.

A 500ml bottle with a BB of June 2018. Acquired a little while back from ALDI. Described on the label as a pale ale hopped with Fuggles, Cascade and Amarillo.
A: Poured into a tulip pint. A deep, clear amber hue with good carbonation. Yields a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before subsiding to a thin surface layer and disappearing.
S: Aroma of caramel malt with hints of leafy hops, subtle hay, ale yeast, faint grain husks and a sulphurous twang in the background. OK but humdrum.
T: Tastes of caramel malt with notes of mild grain, leafy hops, vague hay, ale yeast and a touch of earthiness in the background. A restrained bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and good body. Aftertaste of caramel malt, bitter leafy hops and ale yeast.
O: Pretty good, though not mind-blowing. Looks alright, while the aroma and flavour are a decent blend of caramel malt, leafy hops and yeast esters. Body is OK. Goes down alright but lacking in character; perhaps this is better on cask. Worth trying.

Bottled
Pours a golden body with massive foaming white head
Slight pineapple aroma
Good malty body that makes a solid mouthfeel that leads to slightly sweet acid drop flavour but then lacks a bitter finish

A 500ml bottle which pours a amber colour with a white head. Aromas are of citrus, grapefruit, caramel, light biscuit & bread malts. Tastes follows much the same lines with the same flavours presents. The body is light to moderate, with a sweet fruity and light moderate bitter finish. Overall a very drinkable session ale.

500ml Brown bottle: best before 19 Sept 2012, poured into my 'La Chouffe' tulip glass twice on 18 May 2012.
Light amber body, clear and clean looking: on top a closely knit head of bubbles.
Aroma is of citrusy hops, but not strong or overpowering: just enough strength to let you know the hops rule this beer in the smelling stakes.
The taste is a well balanced blend of those aforementionrd hops and the malts, the flavours just about evenly matched. Malts to the fore then the hop bitterness kicks in gently after the initial sweet feel.
Crisp tasting, almost sharp for a UK bitter, very drinkable.
