"Kaštan." Served on-draught at a bar in Krakow, Poland in Summer 2014.
HEAD: 2 fingers in height. Khaki colour. Nice thickness and creaminess. Decent frothiness. No lacing. Average (~2 minute) retention. Decent complexion and consistency.
BODY: Clear translucent vibrant copper. Has a nice glow to it - almost a golden colour. No yeast/sediment is visible within. Clean.
Looks good for the style. Appears perfectly carbonated.
AROMA: Healthy vitaminy yeast, lovely carmalt, bread crust, helles malts. Lively and inviting, yet mild in terms of intensity.
TASTE: Creaminess, vitaminy biscuity yeast, an almost zwickbier-esque unbunged character approaching (pleasant) oxidation, caramalt, helles malts, bready malts, and a hint of graham cracker. Balanced and enjoyable.
Depth of flavour is above average. Average flavour duration and intensity. There's some nice subtlety to its layering of flavour.
TEXTURE: Smooth, wet, medium-bodied, refreshing as hell, and quenching. Perfect thickness and heft on the palate. Ideal carbonation. Complements the taste well.
OVERALL: Very drinkable; I'll murder my glass and already want another. Really likeable stuff; I'd definitely get it again. A damn well executed unfiltered beer and well worth trying.
