Bottle 0.33L.
Slightly hazy caramel/tan body with a large, frothy, tan head, mostly diminishing with fair lacing; low density of tiny particles.
Moderate-to-heavy malty (caramel, roasted) aroma with notes of red fruits and some alcohol.
Moderate-to-heavy sweet and light bitter flavour; long-lasting sweet finish.
Medium-to-full body with oily texture; soft carbonation.

New lable. It is now shaped like the silhouette of a building seen on the neck-label of the bottle above^ within which is the text 'Ter Dolen - Winter'. About as minimal as it gets excl the Westvleteren beers (of course, they have no lables, just coloured caps).
L- Suggestion: pour slowly, the head comes up ultra-fast! Colour is pale chestnut brown, just about clear, 8cm pale tan fine-bubble head holding well. 4.25
S- Bold Belgian yeast ester notes. 4.25
T- Esters! - delicious, reminds me of childhood sweets; Pear Drops. Then into a slighly tangy hoppy-bright finish. 4.5
F- It's very clever, it really doesn't feel 9.1% Though if it warmed more I suspect it might. It's a slow-sipping winter beer for me for sure. It's far too good to rush. 4
O- Well that was unexpected. It's labelling was so minimalist, but those Belgian yeast esters were the opposite. This is likely the most estery beer I have ever had. It wld be ideal to demo what that aspect can be like. As it warms a touch the richness and body builds. It's a very very fine beer indeed, one I'd love to enjoy again. 4.25
Text+ratings done, now I'll check the back lable for any added info. - Apart from 'the usual' it contains honey and cinnamon, well well. Bought from BeersOfEurope 330ml bottle BB: 22/08/2026

From Uvinum. In Teku glass. Playing South Pak Stick of Truth. Tastes and smells to gumdrop, and have a nice spicy touch at the end of the sip. Great
