Golden in colour with good head but minimal lacing, but generally looks the part. Slight spice / pear fruit on the nose, but similar to the reviews of last years' Anno, the taste was a bit of a let down. They've got the Belgium part down for the most part, but almost no hints of coriander except for a bit of spice at the end, and the pears are there, but only add a subtle complexity to the beer, which isn't always a bad thing, but the overlying dryness of the Belgium yeasts really take away from any sweetness/fruit that the pears could impart.

Overall a nice golden ale that goes well with food, but my Wife and I were a bit let down by the potential flavours hinted at in the beer. It seems like the reviews of the 2014 were more were what we were expecting, which is a bit unfortunate that the past 2 years don't seem to be getting the same profile.
