Can: Poured a golden color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of nice malt backbone with some light spices notes. Taste is a mix of Belgian malt backbone with light residual sugar notes with some grain of paradise notes, some floral notes and with a semi-dry finish. Body is about average for style with good level of carbonation. Enjoyable Belgian ale with good drinkability and right amount of spices.

Hazy amber-gold color. The head is short, with a mix of bubble sizes. It dropped back to a thin skiff, leaving no lacing. Medium-high rate of mixed size bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass.
Smell is a light sour funk with a hint of some sweet malt. Swirling the glass boosted the funk to a mild barnyard, but there is something very fresh and almost minty to go with it.
Rich funk and malt flavors. Lightly tart. It picks up a light apricot and then light-moderate bitters fill in. The aftertaste is of the funky malts and light bitters.
Light tongue tingling as it turns to a large bubbled foam. Medium-heavy body. Significant warming during the aftertaste.
Not sure what the spices were supposed to be. Perhaps the spice accounts for the warming. Dageraad has really dropped the amount of spice they use in their spiced ales lately, which is a trend I prefer (spice should enhance, not overwhelm). This is a very satisfying drink.
