A new language of yeast-driven IPA is emerging, and Dageraad wants to add to the vocabulary. These IPAs are driven by new strains of yeast that can transform odorless compounds in hops and grains into vividly fruitly thiols, changing understated old world hops into fruit bombs.
New Slang is a series of new IPAs where we will explore combinations of yeasts and ingredients to see what new taste experiences we can create.

16 ounce can. Had 12 ounces or so.
Pours a bright hazy golden yellow (though not sure I would call this a hazy) - fittingly looks like pineapple juice - with two fingers of bubbly white head.
Nose is straight up tropical juice - especially pineapple - some berries, citrus, and a bit of a floral note; cotton candy - I know sweetness is not an aroma but this smells like it is going to be sweet.
On the palate, not surprisingly, this is juicy sweet - again pineapple, mango, citrus, berries, but with a bit of pithy grapefruit peel bitterness at the back - but juicy sweet is victorious.
Soft medium mouthfeel with a little bit muted carbonation, which I was initially disappointedj with, but in the end seemed appropriate.
Juicy sweet but not without a nice little bitter kick - but the aroma carries the day.
