Cloudy, yellow color. The aroma of tangerine, melon, and honey. The hoppy bitterness in taste is a bit too sharp and not rounded enough. Good session beer.

Had on tap. How does an ipa with citra come across so boring? I know the idea behind this is a crushable boat beer, but it is to the point the hops are so subdued I would think it is a pale ale at best. Has some orange, flowers and lime in smell and taste, but really yeasty. I will say the feel is indeed crushable, very smooth, bright, light, and crisp.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 12 fl oz can on August 12, 2018. A New England style hoppy table beer that is double dry hopped with Citra. Not for me.

A nice sessionable NEIPA from Forbidden Root, enjoyed on draft and rating from a crowler. Thick golden-orange haze with moderate lacing. A bit of grass and pine next to orange and pomelo, not as bursting with flavor as their IPAs in the 6-9% range, but still a strong presence on the palate.
