16 FL OZ can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours yellow with a slight orange tinge and is turbid. It is topped with an inch of beige head that leaves spotty lacing.
Citrus aroma with a light melon smell
Citrus flavor. Grapefruit in the finish
Medium bodied with an effervescent mouthfeel

Geez, I really wanted to have something good to drink right about now, but something unrelated has put me in a bad mood. I'm conflicted - having a great brew should be my happy moment, and I don't want to be harsh in my review. It's tough to do on this one - it is a really good ale.
It pours less cloudy and a bit darker than most New England IPA's. They called it a double on the can. As a double it looks pretty cool. The aroma is fairly skunky but not too much like ass (a typical New England - smells like sewage). The taste is a real nice mix of hops all over the top of the malts. They blend very nicely giving your tongue a mostly bitter treat. It lingers pleasantly in your mouth.
Recommended. Most New England style IPA's come out similar. This one is a bit more interesting with a wild hop profile.
