Cola colored, plentiful head with thinner foam that vanished within 30 seconds, no lacing in pint glass. Pleasant, fruity fragrance, smooth with vanilla leading. Taste followed aroma with a blend of the vanilla and coffee, but had an excessive sharp, metallic bite that ruined overall taste. Kinda thin feeling, bland. I couldn't find any bottled on or best by date, left the impression these beers were past their prime. Rated on my experience.

From the 16oz can in a snifter. This solid little porter pours a
dark blackish brown with thin tea highlights and a decent head of
off white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty clumping layer, and
shows light lacing. Nose faint dark chocolate, vanilla, cream, char, roast,
and dark coffee notes. Flavors follow the nose with dark coffee, dark
sweet chocolate, rich vanilla, cream, moderate char, coffee, and light
cookie dough (Speculoos cookies I am guessing per description).
Decent mouth feel; medium light body, light carbonation, and
a rich, full, and sweet tinged finish that is a touch of cookie
and a touch of coffee ending with a light bitter malt note.
Overall----can't wait for this brewery to open in Columbus
and visit it with friends!
Cheers
